First, I'd like to say how blessed I feel that my family is healthy and "all we have to do" is stay inside. I would much rather be here at home than sick. BUT, we are all going a little crazy.
How can you give something a little more flavor? Look for ways on how you can add a pinch of spice here and there. You don't need to come up with a whole new recipe.
Play a game or do school work on the stairs, the hallway, the banister, the guest room, even your car (be safe).. wherever!
Tape school work or paper under a chair or low table and let your kids get to work! They will love the different view.
Have a picnic in different rooms in your house, different areas or your backyard or even under the kitchen table.
During bedtime read books at the foot of the bed instead of at the head of the bed. In fact, read the whole book backwards. My kids get a kick out of hearing their favorite stories backwards.
Do messy painting crafts in the bathtub.
Have a lego bath
Have a popsicle bath
Have a themed day like backwards day. Wear clothes backwards, eat meals backwards..etc
Create a reading nook in the (clean) bathtub.
Camp out in your own house or backyard.
