Frozen Paint

Taylor

Updated: Apr 6, 2020

Materials

  • ice tray

  • washable paint

  • water

  • aluminum foil

  • craft sticks

  • paper

Instructions

1. Fill ice trays with various paint colors half full.

2. Fill the rest with water and stir.

3. Cover the tray with aluminum foil.

4. Make an opening in the aluminum foil just big enough for the craft stick. The foil will help keep the craft stick upright until it is frozen.

5. Freeze until solid.

Why I like it

  • A different version of a basic activity

  • Great for a variety of ages

  • Easy setup. It took me less than 5 minutes to prep the tray.

  • Most materials are common in every house.
